Where this number comes from

The seat count is the official figure published by the Registraduría. The votes come from the 2023 official results.

No artificial intelligence wrote this number: it is legal arithmetic over published data. You can check it tonight.

Law 1909 of 2018 can move the last seat to the runner-up of the mayoral or gubernatorial race. This calculation does not model that.

There are 53 weeks left until October 2027.

How this figure was calculated

The last seat is allocated with the cifra repartidora of article 263 of the Colombian Constitution: each list's vote is divided by 1, 2, 3 and so on up to the number of seats, every quotient is ranked highest to lowest, and the one in the last position is the cifra repartidora. Within each list with preferential voting, seats go to the most voted candidates.
